Ingredients list
Brinjal and minced pork in korean bean paste
Ingredients for 3 persons
- Brinjal – 1 large or 2 medium
- Minced pork – 200g
- Garlic – 2 cloves
- Ginger – 1 small chunk
- Shallot – 2 small
- Spring onion – 1 stalk (optional)
- Corn starch – 1 tsp
- Water – 1 teaspoon
- Oil – lots for deep frying. 2 Tbsp for minced meat.
Making the Sauce
- Oyster sauce 1 Tbsp
- Light soya sauce 1 Tbsp
- Sugar 1 Tbsp
- Shaoxing wine 2 Tbsp
- Korean bean paste 1-2 Tbsp
- Water 100ml
Roast vegetables
Ingredients for 4 persons
- 1 medium carrot
- 1 red onion
- 1 bell pepper (yellow or green)
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes
- 1-2 Tbsp Olive oil
- 2 Tbsp dried mixed herbs
- Pinch of salt & pepper to taste
Siu Mai
Ingredients for 4 persons
- 250g minced pork
- 120g shrimp
- 80g shredded carrots
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 egg white
- 1.5 tsp cornstarch
- 0.5 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp ground garlic
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 1.5 tsp sesame oil
- 1 packet wonton skin
