As the deer pants for the water, so my soul longs after you (Ps 42:1).
What’s observed in nature became part of the Psalmist’s expressions towards God. AMKMC Brothers for Christ Men’s Ministry invites you to appreciate how nature’s wondrous sights and sounds can be part of our daily worship towards God.
This lightly paced, intergenerational, guided walk within Lower Pierce Nature Park might see us encounter local wildlife that’s not easily spotted, such as the Lesser Mouse Deer and Sunda Colugo. We may even chance upon the rarely sighted and highly endangered Raffles Banded Langur.
Join us as we seek to behold the Creator through his creation and live out the light of spiritual formation. We will end the walk with a light meal (optional) at Casuarina Curry. Avid shutterbugs can consider bringing their cameras along 😀
Objectives Of Walk:
– Introduce participants to the idea of spiritual formation through a nature walk
– Allow for fellowship and bonding among brothers
– Introduce Lower Peirce Nature Park to participants as a potential place for group outings and to share the biblical value of nature conservation (creation care)
