Many studies have shown that eating more vegetables and fruits are good for preserving cognitive function as we age. However, it is unclear if it is also important to eat a variety of vegetables and fruits. Does it matter if one eats an apple a day, or should a person eat a different fruit a day? Can one just stick to his/her lettuce and carrots, or should one eat a variety of vegetables? Findings from a local study will provide answers to these questions.
